For over 15 years, Sarah Gibson has enjoyed sharing her passion for the art of dance through teaching and choreography. Early in her career, she began choreographing for community college theater and children’s theater productions. During this time she studied ballet and modern dance at Belhaven College (now Belhaven University) and traveled to NYC’s Broadway Dance Center to study jazz. Throughout her years as a teacher she has been dedicated to sharpening her teaching skills by attending workshops and master classes in Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Before moving to Cleveland, Sarah was honored to follow her childhood teacher, Lilia Valieva, in the role of Ballet Mistress at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN. Sarah is devoted to continuing the legacy of her late mentor. As a teacher, she is committed to fostering excellence in artistry, discipline, character development and technical proficiency.
